Easter vacation

Anna and Ava are home alone during Easter vacation.  Both Parents work and luckily they have good friends who took them to the Cape May Zoo one day and to Columbus flea market today.  Yesterday we took the girls out for lunch to McDonalds, Jake's Branch, and the movies to see Superman vs. Batman.  It was an action packed movie and 2.5 hours long.  We all enjoyed it a lot.

Easter came and went

We had a great Easter!  The food was good and plenty and we enjoyed having everyone here.  The kids arrived and of course the Easter bunny once again hid the eggs and all kinds of goodies in the back yard.
After out little Easter egg hunt, we went inside to have appetizers. Shrimps, prosciutto with roasted peppers and mozzarella cheese, and Colby cheese with crackers.
Dinner included: Salad, ham, pork loin rib roast, and baby back ribs. Baked potatoes, potato salad, Brussels sprouts, string beans in a white sauce seasoned with savory, braised Cabbage with Herbs and white wine, and of course my own fresh baked bread.l
Dessert was yummy too, parfait cups filled with brownies, chocolate chip mint ice cream, topped with whipped cream and a caramel le leche torte....awesome, BTW!

Popcorn Park Zoo

Ginny and I had a lot of fun looking at puppies and visiting the zoo. It felt good to walk around in the sun after all these cold day we had recently.

Lacrosse

Ginny and I went to Island Heights today to take a walk by the water,  It was a perfect day for a nice walk.  Stopped at Aldis on the way home and got a new bed for Kia.  BTW, it was my first ride ever in a Mini.  It was kind of cool. It didn't seem as small once you sit inside.

In the evening we went to see Luke's first Lacrosse game.  It was pretty cool.  I have never attended one.
