It was raining cats and dogs this afternoon. I was hoping for some sun, because I wanted to go out an take some pretty fall pictures. The foliage is really starting to look gorgeous. After the rain stopped, I did get a chance to take a few pictures when I took Kia for her walk.

It was gorgeous today and we decided to take a ride through the country side. We passed by the Red Deer Farm where you can take a hay ride and admire all the pretty deer. We didn’t take advantage of it, because we have all the deer that we want to see right in our back yard. The leafs are starting to turn and everyplace you drive through has already beautiful colors. I can’t help but being sad that we soon have to leave here. I love this part of the country. What’s not to love….look at the pictures.

Yesterday was a gorgeous day and while we were sitting by the fire something jumped into the water. Curious, I walked up with my camera, hoping to catch a good picture of any frog by the lake side.
I didn't even know he was there! I heard it 'flop' and thought....oh well, he's gone. I just took the picture with my 300mm lens hoping that I'll see him through the water some how.....in the meantime the little bastard was watching me, hiding behind that stone! Saw him after I took to picture of my camera.
Today was shopping day. First to Wally World to get necessities and then to Masser’s meat market to get some steaks. While there we got some fresh sausage and smoked pork chops. The steaks were, as always AWESOME! Look at the size of one of them.

It was a gorgeous day today. We decided to take a ride and let the GPS do its job. We first passed a covered bridge and of course I had to take a picture of the bridge. There is something about covered bridges.
When I put in Point of Interest nearby parks, we ended up in Montour Preserve, about 24 miles from the campground. We we were really surprised how beautiful this park is. We walked around a little and and enjoyed the view over the lake. On the way home we passed by the power plant, It is a coal fired plant, but it almost looks like a nuclear plant.

43 years after I visited Central Park the first time, I went today. Debby and I had a great time admiring this wonderful park. We planned on walking the whole park, but realized when we were half through that we can’t make it. I didn’t know that Central Park is that huge. So we did half and hopefully we can do the other half the next time we drive into the city.
We walked back towards Port Authority and had a place of Nachos and a Weizenbeer at the Beer Authority across the street from the bus terminal. We finished our snack and then walked to B&H Photo. That place is a nut house! It was very – very big.
Walking back to the bus station, but not without going to “Rudy’s Bar and Grill” for a beer.
Back on the bus with feet that are killing me!

We had an excellent day. The sun was out. No humidity, not too hot….just perfect! After hanging out a little we took a ride to Knoebels to take a walk and boy was it crowded. The parking lot was filled to the rim. Despite all the people there, it really didn’t seem all that crowded in the park itself. I love walking in the amusement park. You see all kind of people…..and I mean ALL kind of people. It was real nice though and they even had a car show there. Not Antiques, just fixed up cars. It was cool.
Went back about an hour and a half later to eat and have a glass of Moscato and ice cream for dessert. Life is good.

I got a new lens today and wasn’t too sure if I will keep it or not, but the first picture I took convinced me that it’s a keeper.
Pennsylvania has a problem. There are hardly any liquor store and you got to drive for mile to get to one. There is one in Bloomsburg and one in Danville. We decided to drive to Danville and walk about town a little. Danville is the town where we went to have Peter’s treatments done at Geisinger’s hospital. The town is nice and the surrounding area is pretty.
On the way home we stopped at this abandoned farm house. We stopped there 5 years ago because it was just fascinating. Now, 5 years later it all starts to grow in.
