We had a nice visit over Deb and Pud’s house. We had a nice time as always. The kids were adorable. Poor Cody, he’s getting old. He didn’t come out the whole time.

It was a gorgeous day, until…..the hail came down. Golf size hail! I have never experienced anything like it. The banging on the camper was unbelievable! Once it was all over, we went outside to check out the damage. The camper was fine, but the car has about 20 dings. Small, but noticeable. I am just glad that nothing more happened and that we weren’t on the road.

Life is good a J & D’s. We had a great day at the park and the evening was pretty too. A few showers in between, but it wasn’t bad.
We took a ride to Hickory Run State Park today. It's about an hour away and it defiantly is worth the trip....besides, the ride there was gorgeous! That is why I love this part of the country so much. It is amazing!
The 15,990-acre Hickory Run State Park, Carbon County, lies in the western foothills of the Pocono Mountains. This large park has over 40 miles of hiking trails, three state park natural areas and miles of trout streams. Boulder Field, a striking boulder-strewn area, is a National Natural Landmark. On the way home we saw this 1931 Ford....0nly $31,000.

Unfortunately it is suppose to rain tomorrow the whole day. Thanks to Internet and cable TV we are not going to be bored. I also love out theater seats in the camper, they sure help to make it comfortable.
I just went for a little walk today to take a few pictures. Especially of this pretty blooming tree, because I am afraid that the rain will wash away all the blossoms.

Not much to say….it was wonderful! What a bunch of very talented kids. This was Anna’s last concert in Middle school. It was sad for Anna and the whole 8th grade. Their music teacher Mrs. Shivers, it awesome! She did an awesome job not only teaching these kids these kids the instrument that they are playing, she also has a special way to create friends forever.

Wow….what a great day I had! We were over Dennis and Chrissy’s for a most delicious brunch. It was so yummy and we all had a great time. So far the best mother’s day ever…..kids and grandkids…everyone was there and it was great.

What a great day today. First we took a ride to Danville. We walked around a little, stopped in a cute little pub for a delicious beer in a frosted mug. While walking down Mill St., we noticed that BJ’s (great steakhouse) had a fire and is now closed. That is too bad because they really have some awesome steaks and other yummy foods.
On Mill St. we saw a lot of commotion with cops and an ambulance. There there was an accident and it sure looked like someone didn’t pay attention where they were driving. She drove right in the back of the other car. Maybe texting?
Next stop: Sunbury. We visited a few friends from our time at Fantasy Island. It was great seeing the Feldmans, Ed, Linda and Josephine. I do miss everyone there.

We went home for three days for Peter’s check-up at RWJ in New Brunswick. The cystocopy was negative and needless to say that we are very happy about it. Kia stayed home and had the run of the house for the day.
Driving back to NJ on Tuesday was hell. It was a very tough ride through the tremendous rains.
We made it OK though and it wasn’t too bad on Wednesday on the way to the hospital.
We headed back to PA on Thursday and it was a pretty good ride. We took the toll roads because we were afraid that if we would take our usual route that there would be some flooded roads.
