Coffee and chat

Every Wednesday the hosts of the thee campgrounds invite all the campers for a social get-to-gether at a log cabin.  They serve coffee, tee, pastries, muffins and home-baked bread with assorted marmalades. It is free, but a donation of $1 is appreciated.  Needless to say that we gave more, because where can you eat all this for $1?  The money covers the cost of the food and any money that is left-over is going towards the park.  While there this morning, we met a German lady.  Marianne was born in the same city that I was born and we had a lot of things in common.  The live in North Carolina and Joe’s (her husband) family lives in Forked River, NJ.  I did recognize by her accent.  However, I should have looked at her feet at first and instantly would have know she was from Germany.  (Mot people know what I mean) LOL
In the afternoon Joe and Marianne visited us and brought a cake.  We had a nice time even though we had to sit inside because it was raining cats and dogs outside.
