Memorial Day Weekend

Friday morning at 9 am we (Tammy and I) went to Anna's school to listen to her concert.  Once we got there, we found out that we really should have been there 8:30 am.  Needless to say, we missed  it all but the last minute.  I got to take a few pictures and that was it.   I also took a few pictures of some school projects....from ceramics to Tie dye T-shirts.

After I left the school, I went home to attend Pat and Ray's garage sale, followed by an awesome spiral ham dinner at Judy's house.

On Saturday we all were invited over Pat and Ray's house for their Memorial day BBQ.   Boy, everything was so yummy!  From appetizer to dessert.
The only thing that was not so great was, that they cut the grass while we were eating and to top it off, they didn't even bag the grass....they cut it without the box in the back of the lawnmower.

Luke’s 6th Birthday

Due to Peter’s surgery, we missed Luke ‘big’ birthday party, but we enjoyed his real birthday today with family at the Haibachi Grill at Ha Na’s.  We had a wonderful time and dinner was awesome. Lukes6th (45)

Good News!

Got a call early this morning from Geisinger Hospital.  All biopsies came back negative.  The patches the doctor was concerned about were inflammation, most likely cause by the treatment.
We are so relieved and life is once again good.

Last day in Selinsgrove

Today is our last day here.  I am glad to be coming home again, yet....I do love this area and wished that it wasn't so far away from where my kids live.  I'd move here in a heartbeat.
Anyway, had some nice company today from friends that we haven't seen in a while.  So good to see them....thanks guys for coming to see us!!!
We also had a nice surprise from the campground owner Deb.  (You saw her seven little Shi Tzus before, with Kia on a play cute!)  Anyway, Deb knew that I was looking for little bows that don't fall off so fast.  She came over today and brought me a whole bunch of gorgeous little bows and rubber bands that I can use for Kia.

Before we went inside for the night, we had another visitor!  Some busy day today.....see below for the visitor that came to see us tonight....

On the road to recovery

What a gorgeous day once again.  Too bad that it won't stay like this for the rest of the year.  Peter is feeling somewhat better too.  We sat outside the whole afternoon and enjoyed this wonderful weather.
Got a couple of nice bird shots too.

Everything went pretty smooth, a friend’s visit and geese

This morning we woke up to a family of geese.  So cute….Mommy, Daddy and the little ones marching by our camper.

We drove to Geisinger’s to be there at 10:45 am for Peter’s surgery.  Everything went well and now we have to sit back and wait for the results to return.  While in the hospital, my good friend Judy came to see us all the way from Elmira, NY just to keep me company in the hospital.  Once Peter was released we all went to the camper.Judy (7)Judy (8)
