Sunbury

We are here at Penn Avon and boy was it cold last night!  29 degrees….Brrrr…
Today, the sun is out and it’s 50 degrees.  Not really warm enough for me, but it’ll do.  We took a ride to have lunch at the Garden Terrace and they must have changed owners.  It is called “Guigi's now.  So, not knowing how the food is, we went to Heimlich’s instead and bought a whole bunch lunchmeats (roast beef, buffalo turkey breast and liverwurst) and cole slaw and potato salad.  That was our dinner…I love non-cooking dinners.  Maybe while we are here, we’ll try it after all.
Needles to say that while in Sunbury, we drove by the campground we stayed in as seasonal for three years.  Last years flood really did a job and it saddened me to see the campground in such a bad shape.  Lot’s of work to be done to bring it into shape again.
The house in some renters lived on the island,  those who allegedly causes some problems a couple of years ago, had a fire.  I couldn’t help it and took some pictures of the house.  Read the article here: http://dailyitem.com/0100_news/x1437240298/Packer-Island-home-destroyed-by-fire-Monday-afternoon
