Island Beach State Park

We went out for a photo shoot today and had a great time.  The weather was perfect.  (Note to self....NEVER, wear Shape-up again on beach sand or other soft grounds)

Manasquan Reservoir

What a great day it was today! My photo buddy Ron and I went to the Manasquan Reservoir to take pictures. Unfortunately I only currently have my 300 mm camera. My other lens broke and it currently is out for repair. One good thing that I didn't know, my lens has an extended warranty and I don't have to pay for the repair. That sure made my day. Anyway....check out some of the pictures that I took today.

Back home

We are back home.  We usually take three days to drive home and this time we decided to attempt it in two days.  Very exhausted we arrived Saturday evening at home, unpacked this morning and rushed off to celebrate Anna’s birthday.  To drive home in two days is pretty tough.  It was a little over 620 miles each day.  We had some engine problems to top it off and were happy to arrive home safe and sound.
Anna’s birthday was nice.  The family put all the money together and Anna now has a notebook.  She loved it.

Back at one of the campsites in Little Manatee we happened to see this camper’s little ‘hobby’ (I guess).  Some people have strange ways to decorate their campsites.

Snake is visiting

Todays visitor was a snake.  Not really huge, but big enough to get Goldi and Kia going.  Goldi discovered the snake first and he screamed.  That got Kia’s curiosity going and as soon as she saw the snake, she went bunkers and barked like crazy.  It was kind of funny,

Big Turtles

We really have been just hanging out at the campsite to enjoy the warmth of the sun.  Today we found three turtles right next to our campsite.  They were pretty tame and huge.
