I tried having fun…really! If it wouldn’t have been for our neighbors that were sitting with us at the table, I would not have enjoyed the chamber music that the DJ played and sang. What the hell was the matter with that DJ? I had more fun at the Silver Ridge party.

We went to see three Halloween parades today. The first one was at Luke’s school at 9:30 am….YIKES! Much too early for us, but we did make it on time. Luke was a Ninja in the red costume. Then off to run a few errands and WaWA for a cappuccino. Next parade is Anna’s at 11:30 am. Anna Banana was….yup, a banana. Next parade at !:45 PM at Ava’s school We were on time after a few shopping trips and a Subway lunch to see the little devil Ava. Throughout all this our Kia came with us and she probably was wondering why we went to three different schools in one day. It was fun and at night Peter stayed home so that I could go to watch Luke and Elisabeth, while their parents are enjoying an adult Halloween party.

We went for another photo shoot at Double Trouble State Park. What a perfect day for picture taking! We also found that cemetery that people are talking about. It is called “Crabbe Family Cemetery” and we took quite a few pictures once again. Love my hobby!

After we dined at P.F. Chang’s, shopped at Whole Foods, Trader Joes and Wegman’s, I came to the conclusion, that we here in Toms River must live like people in a third world country. For heaven’s sake…what the hell is wrong with the picture!? Why don’t w. e have stores like this in our area? The garbage that they sell in stores here, are almost unbelievable/un-acceptable compared the high quality food people are able to purchase in the above mentioned stores. It makes me sick to even think about it. It is too bad that these nice stores are over an hour away from home and we can’t go there on a regular basis. Please take your time and look at the pictures and by all means….while you look….don’t drool all over your keyboard!

WOW….by far the best Broadway play I have seen in a very long time. Priscilla Queen of the Desert tells the story of Tick, Bernadette and Adam, a glamorous Sydney-based performing trio who agree to take their show to the middle of the Australian outback. They hop aboard a battered old bus (nicknamed Priscilla) searching for love and friendship and end up finding more than they ever could have dreamed.
"Now listen here you mullet. Why don't you just light your tampon and blow your box apart? Because it's the only bang you're ever gonna get Sweetheart!"~Bernadette~ The Adventures of Pricilla, Queen of the Dessert
A true ‘feel good’ show.
After the play we went to eat dinner at the Salmon River Restaurant. The food was good and we all had a great time.

Got an e-mail from Kohls that thew now want me to send back the dishes. Huh??? After I destroyed the box? I wrote to them the the box is gone and I don't know how to send it back to them without the box.
Here goes my opinion about their customer service, I guess...I will keep you up-to-date...
We celebrated Chrissy’s birthday today in the Olive Garden restaurant. It was as good as always and besides the food, we had a good time and enjoyed being together with the family.

The meetings always get me so mad….there are a bunch of BODs sitting on the stage. Yes, they are volunteers…..but for heaven’s sake, if you don’t want to do shit, don’t volunteer!! Just to be on a major power trip doesn’t help the development.
We are seniors from 55 years of age to possible 100 years of age, living in a development that was built just for people like us.
At yesterday’s board meeting we were told to pay attention any to any suspicious people that walk the streets in our development and if anyone looks like they may not belong here, we should stop them and ask what they are doing here, where do they live, etc., and even go as far as asking them for an ID or the badge. SAY WHAT????? For sure….I am going to stop one of these hoodlum drunks that hang around here. Yeah, right!
Anyway, after the meeting our friend and neighbor invited us over for drinks. We stayed until about 11pm. It was nice….thanks, Judy!! My camera body Ron was there too.
